Basic boomer humor. So basic and unfunny that it probably upsets most boomers when associated with it. And I’m not even vegetarian.
At my most extreme, I only ate things which were botanically considered fruits. Didn’t even eat lettuce. They kinda have a point, only eat the parts the plants give to you consensually.
That’s a territory apart from veganism. Plants can’t think and they don’t feel pain, because they don’t have brains or nervous systems. This isn’t a difference in degree; it’s a difference in kind. I’m not saying those people are wrong, but as a moral stance it isn’t a logical extension of veganism.
By extension what about the millions of bacteria they kill if they get sick and take antibiotics? Vor any other number of things of that nature.

Well, the other annoying part is that chickens themselves eat plants. More plants than if you ate the same calories in plants yourself, because they also need some calories to flap their wings.

There’s a certain style of sign:
- Centered text
- Inconsistent capitalization
- Way more different sizes/fonts/colors than necessary
- Strange punctuation

Idk what is broken in people’s brains that makes this specific pattern happen so much.
