I’m not sure that’s infuriating at all, when they’re already blowing up and hacking neighboring countries. It might mean Europe has to spend more or regulate more to protect their cars, that’s it.

I mean, the EU could impose a 24-hour quarantine period on vehicles leaving the EU for Russia to see if any theft reports come in on vehicles that aren’t whitelisted on a freight-hauler vehicle list or something like that. That’d probably suck a lot more for Russia than it would for the EU.

Start hiding geofenced self-destruct devices in EU cars. Let them run for a little while once conditions are met so it happens somewhere more inconvenient than the thief’s driveway.
