I have to say the excuse that parents are too good damned stupid to turn on child lock on kids devices to lock down the Internet is infuriating.
Parents should be insulted. The childless should be insulted.

AFAIK, everybody is insulted by it. How would one know anyway? Look at the heavily censored social media?
There was that one opinion poll where they went around asking everyone if they approve of keeping children safe.
