    Is this a US university? I’d imagine this Megan Finger here could sue for millions of punitive damages for getting such a username.

          Most states have laws saying there has to be a chance to take a simple remedy first. So your case would likely get thrown out if you didn’t go to IT and try first. It’s when you give them the opportunity to fix it and they refuse that you get rich.

            even without such a law everyone’s going to think you’re an idiot anyways and not bother with your nonsense, always get evidence in writing.
